Sometimes

I named this piece "Sometimes" to reflect upon a generation yearning for the ruggedness of years past. The figure has just finished riding (note the sweaty clothes clinging to his body) and is preparing to put away his saddle and groom his faithful horse. Sometimes they ride farther, sometimes the cattle behave....

My husband Dave, modeled for this piece. The saddle is a composite of his saddles. Sometimes he gets to spend more time with his horse, "Caesar". A rugged focal point of any display, "Sometimes" will Demand attention and give Western flair in any locale.
